A nurse who knits…

  2. Former job: industrial engineer–> hated it!
  3. Hobbies: Knitting (a lot), crocheting, reading, traveling.
  4. Activities that take up much of my time: knitting and working.  I am trying to work out more. I gained 10 lbs while living in East Lansing, MI.
  5. Graduated from: Michigan State University (BSN, August 2006), Cal Poly SLO (BS-Industrial Engineering, December 2006)
  6. Pets: Waldo and Wendy (mini Daschunds)
  7. Boyfriend : Matt is now my fiance. Dating for almost 4 years.
  8. Favorite book: Stones from the River by Ursula Hegi. Great book. Examines life of a woman who is “different” and how all people have secrets about themselves.
  9. Favorite vacation spot: Hawaii. I hope to see new ones and update this list.
  10. Favorite food: French Fries, Jamba Juice shakes, creme brulee, rice (hey, I’m filipino!)
  11. Getting married in Lahaina, Maui at the Maria Lanakila Catholic Church.

I’ll update this list as I think of things. If anyone wants to know anything about me, let me know. It might make it on the list!

  1. Hi! Thank you for visiting my blog and linking to me (I will do likewise).

You amaze me….a nurse who knits! My mom tried teaching me how to knit when I was much younger. Unfortunately, I learned how to knit but never how to correct my knitting errors. So I gave up and moved to crochet instead that just allowed me to rip the darn thing apart when I went wrong.

Maybe by having your blog link, I may be inspired to take it up again one day…. 🙂

  2. Hey, are you Gail in San Diego? If you are, I think we emailed a few months ago about a possible knitting group in North County Inland. There is one starting up in June as a splinter group from NCKG. It will be meeting at Panera in Carmel Mountain. Let me know if you want more info.
