You Are an Espresso

At your best, you are: straight shooting, ambitious, and energetic

At your worst, you are: anxious and high strung

You drink coffee when: anytime you’re not sleeping

Your caffeine addiction level: high

What Kind of Coffee Are You?

I’m not dead you guys. Just don’t have anything knitty to share. There’s less than 4 weeks left until the wedding and I’ve been mostly prepping for that. Nothing really left to do except print out my programs. Unfortunately, my printer is on the fritz so I have to figure out what’s wrong.

I decided that something I wanted for my wedding is long eyelashes. So I got eyelash extensions last week. Oh my gosh… they are beautiful. I was born with short, thin pathetic looking lashes. So non-existant that these new lashes are just normal for most people. But I’m thrilled with the results. I go back next week for my fill and I’m going to ask my guy to give me the longest lashes possible. I don’t know how long I’ll be able to maintain my fantasy lashes because they are expensive to keep up but while I have them, I want to go big.

As for knitting, I’m plugging away on the Feather and Fan shawl from Gathering of Lace. It’s huge now and I’m on row 147 of chart 2B. I have 50 more rows left and I’m sure there are over 1000 stitches in a round. It takes me half an hour for each round at this point so I may be working on this bad boy for another month or so.

  1. I can’t even imagine 1000 stitches per round. I would be so demoralized that I’d have to cast on a superbulky hat, just to take the edge off. Will you be at knit group on Wednesday? I’d love to see your eyelashes!

  2. Best of luck on your wedding. I hope you have a beautiful day to share with a wonderful man and many people who love you both!

  3. Hope the shawl goes well. It seems a bit unfair how the rows get more and more demanding as one goes along.

I did the quiz and came out a soy latte, which was a bit of a surprise, as i am very much a “real dairy” girl.
