Retro Rib Socks are done!!!

I was determined to have an FO by the end of the day. My most obvious project to work on were the Retro Rib Socks so I brought those to my knitting meetup this morning. And now… may I present the Retro Rib Socks!!!

Pattern: Retro Rib Socks from Interweave Fall 2004 by Evelyn Clark
Needles: Addi Turbo size 1. I used a 40″ cable to do the knitting in the Magic Loop method.
Yarn: Jawoll in Grey
Verdict: An easy rib pattern that is quickly memorized. I think the yarn is appropriate for this project and the socks are very comfortable. I love these socks. I find socks to be a bit monotonous at times and that’s why it took me so long to finish the socks. I plan on knitting more socks this year mainly because I’m wearing holes in my store bought socks and I love the custom fit of my handknitted ones. Yeah for an FO!

And now for some gratuitous doxie pics…

She reminds me of a little sweet pea…
