A nurse who knits…

Paying it forward

Filed under: Life in general — yarnnut @ 4:36 pm

Hi all…. this is a concept that has been circulating the blog world lately. You do something nice for another person. And that person does something nice for another. And the good deeds just keep on going from person to person. For knitters, that good deed usually has a knitting related theme. I will give a handknit gift or something to help their knitting to the first 5 people who comment on this post. I have know idea what the gifts are or when I will get them to you but you will get a gift. The person who inspired me to do this is George Anne. So go on… pay it forward.

  1. LOL – I’m glad I inspiried you … but I didn’t know! I have you on my list now of people to “treat” (not like you aren’t one of those good souls out there that I like to do that to anyways!)

I so miss you and seeing you! You got me through a rough time after my surgery and I think of you often – but you are doing sood stuff out there and we need more peeps like you. So play it forward sista’ play it forward!

  2. It’s a great idea, but isn’t that what nurses do every day? You do nice stuff for people who need it and certainly don’t pay it back, right? I’m not a nurse, so I guess I’ll have to make an extra effort. I think I’ll do five people, too.

  3. Suzanne is right – nurses are always giving to others! And you seem to do more than your fair share. I am loving nursing school – 2 more weeks until clinical with real patients!

  4. You ARE one of the most giving people that I know. You have been so generous with your friendship and I hope you know that we appreciate it. I know you already have something on your list to make for us, but I wanted to leave a comment anyway. Love ya!
