Golden Girls

Anyone else a fan of this show? Not many people know this but I love this show. What’s not to love about 4 older women “shooting the shit” as one of my friends Dirty Sue would say?  I’m watching it while I knit my DSL tank.  It’s the episode where Blanche can’t get Ham Lechbomb (sp?) to sleep with her.  I’m just laughing my head off.  Thank goodness this tank is such an easy pattern.

I’m working on the back right now.  It appears that my gauge has changed.   Don’t you just hate that?  But hopefully it will still work.  I’m almost afraid to measure it.  I’m using Berroco Comfort which is a very soft yarn.  If I have any complaints, it’s that it is a splitty yarn.  But works well for this tank.  It’s nylon and acrylic though.  Hopefully, it won’t be too hot to wear.

I have a feeling that this tank will be finished this week so you’ll probably see a picture later…

  1. I love watching the old re-runs of Golden Girls. Blanche is definitely a favorite! I haven’t seen the show in quite a while. I wonder if they sell dvd sets of it?
    Have a wonderful day.
