I don’t feel like doing any work….

Filed under: Uncategorized — yarnnut @ 10:17 am

So I’m going to post pics of two new WIPS. Here’s the first one.

and here’s a close up.

Can anyone guess what it’s going to be when it grows up? Hint is on my sidebar…

I also started my friend’s grandma’s Kiri shawl. I’m knitting it on size 6 addis and using Alpacca Lace weight in this deep wine color. It’s a fairly easy lace pattern and I hope she likes it. I was going to do the Paisley shawl but the circular cast on was driving me insane. I decided I needed a sure thing because I want to be able to give this to Marie before I graduate! Here are a few pictures.

Marie doesn’t know how to surf the internet or even use a computer so my secret is safe here…

  1. Very pretty lacework on the shawl -lace and I decided to terminate our relationship last month. I already did a fiber binge at Threadbear this morning. In regards to Otis – he was born to model – I don’t pose him, he picks a look himself and I shoot the camera – NO LIE! My other dog’s photos are mostly tail and butt as well! I have never heard of a panta until I hit your blog – interesting!

  2. PRETTY!!! i love the shawl! lucky you that your friend isn’t online to know what you’re up to. all my knitted gift recipients are not only online, they check my knitting blog regularly!! so i have to be mum about alot of things. =P
